The Lead with Authentic Presence Program is about providing women with research backed strategies and evidence based tools that can help them find both success and fulfillment.

It is grounded on extant scientific research in positive psychology, neuroscience, leadership development and gender diversity and addresses the underlying reason female representation at the top remains strikingly low despite near equal representation until Middle Management. 

It has been tested in a RCT of 272 adult working women and implemented by hundreds of women of varying ages, professions and across the organizational ladder.

  • Increased self-awareness and emotional management in order to take risks and step outside their comfort levels
  • Greater confidence in their ability to communicate powerfully and ask for what they want and deserve

The fear of failure keeps many women from stepping out of their comfort zone. Participants will learn to manage the fears and self-doubt that keeps them from taking action by becoming comfortable with failure. Imperfect Work/Life Balance

Balancing work and life is a working woman’s greatest dilemma. Participants will learn to identify what’s truly important to them, manage their time and energy and learn to become comfortable with imperfection so they are able to show up fully, even if not perfectly.

Why I’m Passionate about Women’s Leadership

I’ve been working as a women’s leadership coach for close to a decade. Very early on in my practice, I began to notice a certain pattern: regardless of the reason women came to me for leadership coaching, the conversations invariably turned to confidence. Often these were seemingly confident women, but they continued to doubt themselves. They knew they were competent, but they couldn’t speak up and share their ideas, take consistent action towards their goals, or sponsor and support other women to rise to their highest potential. 

These brilliant women were doing a disservive to themselves. And they were doing a disservice to other women and to their organizations.

I spent many years doing psychological research on the underlying reasons for this pattern. And what I found was that their confidence was underpinned by deep-seated feelings of low self-worth that existed largely at the implicit level. As such, these feelings stayed unaddressed all their lives, and yet affected their thoughts, emotions and decisions. Based on these findings, I developed a framework for authentic confidence that I again researched in randomized control trials with women in different professions and at all stages of their career trajectory. What emerged was Lead with Authentic Presence, a pioneering leadership model that delivers results by meeting women where they are.
